The project build by our team was fully automated and can be also controlled by using DTMF module, DTMF Helps us to Operate the circuit using a Mobile phone , This helps us To communicate through a long distance all over the earth.
Our main AIM for the project is to Control the street lights when the sensor senses any movement of vehicles, Or any other obstacle, Sensor used here is IR SENSOR- Works on the basic principle of Infrared radiations just like how a Sonar radar works, the street light automatically Glows when the sensor reads a value (HIGH) and Hence this High value is sent to the arduino microcontroller through which we can give a delay time So that the Road Street light may glow some seconds even after the vehicle is crossed the IR Region...
The LDR used in the project Determines that whether there is DAY or NIGHT,
LDR is a device Whose value of resistance depends upon the intensity of light falling on it. When there is night Then the resistance is very low due to which it give a value HIGH in the night and gives a value LOW during the day. BY this our Sensor works during The night time only
